AIPMT Results 2016: The date sheet for AIPMT result 2016 has now been released. The results for the medical entrance test will be declared by the month of June 2016. The All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT) is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) every year in order to make the aspiring students enter their desired colleges. CBSE has announced the examination date for this year and it’s scheduled to be conducted on May 1, 2016. This was published on the official website of CBSE on its Information Bulletin board.
The notification of CBSE conducted examination was published in the third week of December. In the year 2015, the examination was held on May 3, 2015. The exam pattern shall comprise of 180 objective type questions that will be based on Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The exam will be held in various centers in India and lakhs of students are expected to appear for the exam. CBSE is responsible only for conducting the examination, declaring the Result and providing the merit list to the DGHS as well as the participating colleges. The counseling process will be conducted by the DGHS and the respective authorities of the participating state/ universities/ institutions. The examination is considered as one of the highly competitive medical entrance tests in India and every year the exam is taken by around 6 lakh candidates.
AIPMT Merit List and AIPMT Cutoff Marks:
Depending on the examination scores the merit list will be prepared, which will be used for the process of counseling by various state governments/ universities / institutes taking part in the examination. The examination syllabus primarily follows the CBSE, 10+2 level syllabus giving the students from the CBSE board a clear upper hand in the test. Following the NCERT books, line by line is the best way to prepare for the examination. There will be category wise cutoff marks for General, OBC, SC, ST, PH and Rank Range for MBBS, BDS Admission.
